In collaboration with Kinoblindgänger gemeinnützige GmbH, we produced the accessible version of the documentary FOR SAMA by Syrian filmmaker Waad al-Kateab for the Human Rights Film Festival Berlin . The film, which documents the situation in the besieged city of Aleppo, opened the festival last year as its German premiere. The audio-described version has been nominated for the German Audio Description Award 2020, which will be presented this Wednesday.
At the same time, the production of this accessible version marked the launch of our new production brand “48hearts productions”. By bundling our production and studio services under a new umbrella brand, we will strengthen the focus and position of “speaker-search” as an agency, while significantly expanding our offering as a production company.
