John Travolta

John Joseph Travolta was born on February 18, 1954, in Englewood, New Jersey (USA) and works as an actor, producer, singer, and author.

After John Travolta had already gained fame in the mid-1970s through his role as Vinnie Barbarino in the television series "Welcome Back, Kotter," he played his first major film role in 1976 in the American horror film Carrie.

John Travolta became a true superstar with the films Saturday Night Fever (1977) and Grease (1978).

Following a moderately successful period in the 1980s, John Travolta made his comeback with the film Look Who's Talking in 1989. John Travolta continued this success with the leading role in Pulp Fiction by Quentin Tarantino in 1994.

The main German dubbing voice of John Travolta in the German synchronized versions of his films is Thomas Danneberg. On occasion, John Travolta has also been dubbed by other voice actors, in recent years including Ronald Nitschke.
