Gabor Bakonyi began his voice-over career back in the mid-1990s. He studied acting in his hometown of Budapest and quickly discovered that one of his greatest talents lay in working with his voice in front of the microphone. His unmistakable sound can be warm and sensual as well as hard and commanding. Until 2004, he worked as the station voice for Roxy Radio. He then voiced the lead role in the Hungarian version of the game Postal 2, earning great acclaim from the fan community: his voice made the game something special and gave it a wit that was missing from the original version. Gabor's voice is also frequently heard in the commercial sector in Hungary. He has voiced commercials for brands including Bauhaus, BMW, Ford and Pepsi.
