Henrike Tönnes studied English Literature and Comparative Studies before training as a theatre educator and completing vocal training. From singing, it was a natural progression to voice work in the recording studio. After training at the Christian Rode Sprecherschule Berlin and further education with coaches including Vanida Karun, Katharina Gast and Markus Haase, Henrike has been working as a voice artist since 2015. Her main focus areas are audiobooks (she is the regular voice of the "Countess of Harleigh" crime audiobook series), audio dramas and games, but she has also won major clients as a commercial voice, including ShareNow (the car-sharing joint venture between BMW and Daimler).
