Even as a teenager, Katharina Koschny was a true radio drama enthusiast. But limiting herself to simply listening never crossed her mind. After initially working as an actress on theatre stages, Katharina transitioned to radio as a news presenter. During this time, she met voice actor Wolfgang Ziffer, who was so spontaneously impressed by her voice that he immediately took her into the recording studio. Today, Katharina's voice has become indispensable in studios everywhere. With her sensual, slightly husky yet authoritative voice, she delivers compelling performances in commercials, audio guides, e-learning programmes, corporate films and documentaries for clients including Sparkasse, BMW, Deutsche Post and Deutsche Telekom. Katharina Koschny has also achieved considerable success as a voice actress. Whether as Julie White (Judy Witwicky) in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Nathalie Baye (Marléne Martin) in Alibi.com or Debra Winger (Maggie Bennett) in The Ranch – she brings every role to life. When Katharina isn't in the recording studio, she passes on her passion for voice work to young voice talents as a lecturer in microphone technique and dubbing.
