Katja Hirsch completed her acting training at the University of Music and Theatre in Bern from 2000 to 2004. She later worked as a permanent ensemble member at Schauspielhaus Graz and Staatstheater Mainz, among others. Ten years ago, she was booked by Hessischer Rundfunk for a radio drama production. Working in front of the microphone was so much fun for Katja Hirsch that she was instantly hooked. Over the following years, she continued to develop her skills and was coached by Volker Gerth, Katharina Koschny, Joachim Kunzendorf and Silvia Pfändner, among others. She has since participated in numerous productions for Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandradio Kultur, arte, SWR, BR and ARD. In addition to radio dramas, radio features and documentaries, you can also hear her in many commercial productions and dubbing roles.
