Mathias Kahler-Polagnoli is an Austrian multi-genre artist. Trained as an actor, he has been performing on numerous stages throughout the German-speaking region since 1987. Since 1994, he has also been known to a wide audience through many TV series productions such as Kommisar Rex, Wege zum Glück, Soko Donau, and Tatort. He has appeared alongside many prominent colleagues including Tobias Moretti, Senta Berger, Klaus Wildbolz, Erich Auer, Johanna Liebeneiner, and Maria Furtwängler. However, his interest in the art of voice work has always been at the heart of his career. He has taken on major roles in numerous audio productions for German broadcasters and in audiobooks published by the renowned Langen-Müller publishing house. Literary-artistic radio plays are one of his particular passions. In this field, he has been featured in numerous productions for SWR, NDR, and HR.
