Speech and language have fascinated Michaela Gärtner since her youth. Her enthusiasm for Rufus Beck's readings of Harry Potter ultimately inspired her to pursue a professional career as a voice artist. Through numerous training courses and professional development programmes, she honed her talent and has been working full-time as a voice artist since 2018. Her portfolio encompasses productions across a wide range of genres, particularly audiobooks and audio dramas as well as commercials. She also frequently lends her voice to telephone announcements and public address systems at events and trade fairs (such as EMO 2019), which has occasionally led to unexpected encounters with her own voice.
