Phil Schoen was nearly obsessed with radio plays and radio as a child. Instead of sleeping, he would lie under the covers at night with his transistor radio, trying to pick up live sports broadcasts from other parts of the country and dreaming of becoming a live commentator himself. Since then, voice work has been a recurring part of his life: during his time at his high school radio station, he tried his hand at sports commentary for the first time, and while studying journalism at Bowling Green State University, he voiced short documentary films for his professor. Since graduating over thirty years ago, he has lent his voice to a wide variety of productions and genres, including commercials and corporate videos, audiobooks and audio plays, e-learning projects, and has already convinced numerous high-profile clients such as Honda and Mercedes Benz, FedEx Office, EA Sports, and Simply Healthcare.
