Thomas Pietschmann was born in Hamburg in 1961 and studied speech arts at the State Conservatory in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, where he lives today. His voice-over career began in 1993 with Deutsche Welle Television's Eastern Europe Magazine and as a trailer voice for VOX in Cologne. Since then, he has established himself as a versatile German voice talent working for renowned broadcasters including ARTE, RTL and NTV. His portfolio encompasses documentaries, reports, voice-over productions, radio commercials, travel features, explainer videos and audiobook narrations. In addition to German as his native language, he speaks fluent French, English and Luxembourgish, as well as some Italian. His voice impresses with its expressiveness and presence, earning him the trust of major productions for decades.
