Voice artist Ulrich Blöcher

Ulrich Blöcher loves voice acting so much that he has dedicated himself primarily to the profession since 2015. For over 15 years before that, he could be seen on numerous theatre stages and in front of the camera (including Dominik Graf's Berlinale competition film "Beloved Sisters"). He trained as an actor at Berlin's Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. Ulrich lends his emotional voice to independent stars such as James Franco ("Burn Country") and Niko Nicotera ("Let Me Make You a Martyr") as a German dubbing voice and is the narrator of the successful audiobook series "Hubertus Hummel". He can be heard in numerous essays and documentaries for Deutschlandradio Kultur and RBB Kulturradio, and provides audio descriptions for fast-paced as well as sensitive films ("Atomic Blonde", "Fast and Furious 8", "Tom of Finland"). Ulrich gives radio commercials for clients such as VW, TOBIS and Berliner Morgenpost a warm, comedic or serious touch with his young, male voice.
