As a child, Uta Dänekamp loved listening to radio plays, reading aloud, and recording her own audio dramas and fictional radio shows with her sister. Years later, when she had to dub herself for a few scenes after her first film shoot as an actress, her passion for voice work was immediately reignited. Through numerous trainings and courses, she professionalized her voice and has been working as a professional voice artist since 2005. In addition to numerous TV documentaries, explainer videos, and corporate films, she regularly works as a German dubbing voice and audiobook narrator. She was particularly thrilled when she first became part of a production by Heikedine Körting (producer of Famous Five, TKKG, and The Three Investigators, among others), whose radio plays had been a constant companion throughout her childhood.
