US voice artist Vincent Abbate graduated in English Literature from Hunter College in New York. He later took education courses at the University of Maine. In the mid-1990s, he moved to Germany, where he initially worked as a teacher at a language school in Cologne. When he learned that Deutsche Welle was looking for presenters for their English-language programming, he auditioned and proved to be a natural talent, earning an immediate contract. Until the early 2000s, Vincent Abbate worked primarily for Deutsche Welle. His portfolio then broadened considerably, and Vincent became a regular voice artist in numerous recording studios. Thanks to his clear, matter-of-fact voice, much of his work focuses on corporate films, product videos and e-learning projects. Companies and brands such as Siemens, DHL, Porsche, BASF, Bayer, Daimler, Carl Zeiss and PwC are now among his clients.
