Why solidarity is more important than ever!

“Solidarität stimmt!”

The Covid-19 pandemic overwhelmed us all this year and has held us firmly in its grip. It has changed our everyday lives dramatically, both professionally and privately. For almost a year now we have been experiencing these restrictions and living with them. As early as April  one thing was particularly important to us: let's not just face what's coming at us, but also put something up against it.

The idea

“Solidarität stimmt!” – the idea is simple: together we use our skills for something good and give people a short break to listen during these challenging times. As part of this campaign we produce audiobooks, which we offer free of charge on various platforms. Many voice artists have already supported the campaign with their voices.

The relief fund

At the same time, we are calling for donations to an emergency fund for voice artists who have got into financial difficulties because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Whether it's co-payments for medical treatment, childcare costs or unbureaucratic help with rent problems doesn't matter. If we manage to take away “just” one worry for some of them, together we will already have achieved a lot.

The committee

To keep the management of donations and support transparent, we have entrusted an independent committee with this supervisory role. It's important to us that decisions on how donations are used are made independently. It's equally important that anyone who turns to “Solidarität stimmt!” in an emergency is guaranteed complete anonymity within the industry, because we understand that this may not be an easy step for some.
