Sound effects created in the studio bring your film to life.
Since the late 1920s, sound effects have been created in the studio to match the picture – named after Jack Donovan Foley, the father of sound effects. Our Foley artists recreate non-verbal sounds and record them in sync with the picture.
The Foley mixer is the critical authority: together they create perfect individual elements that are edited in sync and combined into the overall soundtrack. In the end the ear hears what the eye sees – and footsteps in sand sound like footsteps in snow if the film demands it.
Foley recordings are also the basis of every IT version – important if your film is to be distributed internationally.
From individual scenes to a complete Foley track – we make your film audible.
