Matthias Rimpler is a voice actor driven by passion. Inspired by intensive collaboration with Berlin dubbing director Joachim Kunzendorf, he has been working behind the microphone for over 10 years now. Success came quickly: Matthias landed his first role as a dubbing actor in the theatrical release Hannibal Rising, where he was entrusted with voicing one of the main characters, Inspector Popil, played by Dominic West. Matthias excels at giving different characters precisely the right traits with his voice. Whether a role requires a calm, serious tone or a cunning, loud delivery makes no difference to him. In recent years, you could hear him consistently in several well-known series productions: House of Cards, Shameless, The Bridge, and Suburra are just some of the projects he has contributed to. By now, Matthias is no longer in demand solely as a dubbing actor—his distinctive voice can also be found in countless commercials and audio dramas.
