Actor and voice artist Nico Birnbaum has an impressive CV. Born in Kiel, he initially studied literature and philosophy in Aix-en-Provence, then wrote his dissertation on Franz Kafka in Florence, and subsequently lived in Rome working as a translator and German teacher. During his time in Florence, Nico gained his first professional experience as an actor at the city's "Scuola Nazionale di Cinema Indipendente". As part of this training, he appeared in numerous short films. In 2013, after completing his doctorate with summa cum laude, he made the definitive decision to leave academia behind and pursue his dream of working as an actor. Since then, Nico has appeared in numerous productions, whether as an actor ("Unter Uns", "Verbotene Liebe", "Hitlers Angriff aus dem All") or as a German dubbing voice ("Puerto Ricans in Paris", "Inferno", "Rosewood").
