From early childhood, Thorsten König was fascinated by the human voice. He listened to radio around the clock and dreamed of one day hosting his own show or voicing a commercial. Today, Thorsten has been working as a full-time professional voice artist for over ten years, whether for commercials, corporate films, documentaries, or e-learning projects. Thorsten has a special passion for character work: be it a neurotic mafia boss, a mad professor, a friendly honey bee, a shy Easter bunny, or an endearing storyteller – he excels in every role, without any technical aids. You can hear his German voice in spots and campaigns for Edeka, Mercedes Benz, HUK-Coburg, Media Markt, and Nivea, among others. Beyond his studio work, Thorsten spent many years as a radio presenter and voice talent at Funkhaus Coburg and completed voice acting and drama training with Bernhard Maxara, as well as vocal coaching with Rolf Müller-Trenck.
