Demi Guynes was born on November 11, 1962, as Demetria Gene Guynes in Roswell, New Mexico (USA). She is known by her stage name Demi Moore.
After Demi Moore initially played her first roles in US television series such as 'General Hospital' and 'Tales from the Crypt' in the 1980s, her first engagements as a film actress followed in parallel. Demi Moore played her first film roles in, for example, 'Blame It on Rio' (1984) or 'St. Elmo's Fire' (1985).
Demi Moore achieved her international breakthrough in 1990 alongside Patrick Swayze: In 'Ghost', Demi Moore portrayed the role of 'Molly Jensen', for which she was also nominated for a Golden Globe.
After things had become quieter around Demi Moore in the following years, she made a renewed comeback with her role in 'Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle' (2003).
Demi Moore is also counted as a member of the so-called 'Brat Pack'. 'Brat Pack' refers to a generation of young actors who frequently appeared together in so-called 'clique films' in the early 1980s, but also enjoyed the wild party life together privately.
Demi Moore has been voiced by many different voice actresses for the German dubbing versions of her films. In 'Ghost', she was voiced by Maud Ackermann. In 'Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle', Katja Nottke took over the dubbing. In recent years, Arianne Borbach has frequently lent her voice to Demi Moore. Occasionally, Franziska Pigulla, Claudia Urbschat-Mingues, and Daniela Hoffmann have also appeared as the German voice of Demi Moore.
