Jamie Dornan was born on May 1, 1982, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and has gained international recognition as an actor, model, and musician. Before dedicating himself entirely to acting, Dornan worked successfully as a model for brands such as Calvin Klein, Dior, and Hugo Boss, and was for a time the face of several prestigious campaigns.
Jamie Dornan achieved his breakthrough as an actor in the BBC series "The Fall" (2013-2016), in which he portrayed serial killer Paul Spector and received widespread acclaim for his intense performance. However, he gained worldwide fame through the lead role of Christian Grey in the film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" (2015) and its two sequels, "Fifty Shades Darker" (2017) and "Fifty Shades Freed" (2018).
