Kurt Russell was already a star as a child and adolescent. He became known primarily through productions by the Walt Disney Company. In the early 1980s, Kurt Russell appeared in films such as 'Escape from New York' (1981) or 'The Thing' (1982). Also well known is his role in 'Backdraft' in 1991 or his leading role in Roland Emmerich's 'Stargate' in 1994.
In 2007, Kurt Russell played the lead role of Stuntman Mike in Quentin Tarantino's 'Death Proof'. In 2015, he played the role of bounty hunter John "The Hangman" Ruth in 'The Hateful Eight'. In 2017, Kurt Russell played the role of Ego in 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2'.
