Angelina Jolie Pitt was born on June 4, 1975 in Los Angeles, California (USA). Today, Angelina Jolie works as an actress, film director, screenwriter and film producer. She is also widely known for her extraordinary humanitarian engagement. Among other roles, Angelina Jolie is Special Envoy of UN High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres and former Special Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Angelina Jolie appeared in front of the camera as a child and teenager. Her acting career was boosted in 1998 by a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress (Television Movie) for her role as Cornelia Wallace in the biographical film Wallace. Angelina Jolie gained international recognition in 2001 through her role as video game character Lara Croft in the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, directed by Simon West. Her greatest commercial success followed in 2005. In the film Mr. & Mrs. Smith, directed by Doug Liman, she plays the assassin Jane Smith alongside Brad Pitt.

Angelina Jolie has won a total of 2 Oscars and 3 Golden Globes. In 2000, she received the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Lisa Rowe in Girl, Interrupted (1999), and in 2009 for Best Actress for her role as Christine Collins in Changeling (2008), directed by Clint Eastwood.

Angelina Jolie made her feature film directorial debut in 2011 with her film In the Land of Blood and Honey, a war drama set during the Bosnian War. In 2017, Angelina Jolie directed the Netflix production First They Killed My Father, based on the memoirs of Loung Ung during the reign of terror of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia in the 1970s.

Since filming Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in Cambodia, which was still largely mined at the time, Angelina Jolie has been committed to humanitarian work. In 2001, the UNHCR appointed her as UNHCR Special Ambassador. In 2012, Angelina Jolie was granted honorary citizenship of Sarajevo in recognition of her film In the Land of Blood and Honey. Since 2010, she has been advised on her humanitarian engagement by British politician and human rights activist Arminka Helic and former British Foreign Secretary William Hague.

Since 2000, Angelina Jolie has been voiced almost exclusively by Claudia Urbschat-Mingues as her German dubbing voice for the German versions of her films.

Neben Rollen in Filmen spricht Claudia aber auch Werbung für Unternehmen und Marken wie "Vernel", "Olaz", "Citroën", "L‘Oréal" und "Emirates" und ist oft als Trailer-Stimme und Stationvoice für Radio- und TV-Sender zu hören, wie z.B. für die Deutsche Welle, ZDF, ARD und Arte.
