Charlize Theron was born on August 7, 1975, in Benoni, South Africa. The South African actress also holds U.S. citizenship and works as a film producer.
After initially working as a model, Charlize Theron was discovered by a talent agent on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. Charlize Theron is also engaged in humanitarian work. With the 'Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project', which the actress founded in 2007, the South African is committed to HIV prevention in her home country. In 2008, Charlize Theron was appointed UN Messenger of Peace.
