Katherine McNamara is an American actress who became well known primarily through her roles in fantasy and science fiction series. With her distinctive red hair and her talent for action-packed characters, she secured a firm place in the genre landscape.
Katherine McNamara achieved her breakthrough in the dystopian trilogy "The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" (2015) and "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" (2018), in which she portrayed the role of Sonya. She gained particular recognition as Clary Fray in the fantasy series "Shadowhunters" (2016-2019), based on the bestselling novels by Cassandra Clare. In this series, Katherine McNamara played the lead role for three seasons as a young woman who discovers her destiny as a Shadowhunter.
Katherine McNamara cemented her status as a series actress in the role of Mia Smoak in the seventh and eighth seasons of "Arrow" (2018-2020). She subsequently took on the lead role in "Walker: Independence" (2022-2023), a prequel to the series "Walker." For her work, she has been nominated multiple times for Teen Choice Awards.

Even during her school days, she was the star of every school theater group and children's musical: Amelie Plaas-Link is an actress and voice artist with a young, dynamic, and unmistakable voice. Right after graduating from high school, she completed several internships at theaters, including at the Altes Schauspielhaus in Stuttgart, and took private acting lessons. At the same time, she gained her first film experience in short films and corporate videos. After landing her first television role in the ZDF production "Frühlings Erwachen" in summer 2009, where she appeared on screen alongside Wilson Gonzales Ochsenknecht and Justus von Dohnányi, everything happened very quickly.
