Minnie Driver

Minnie Driver, born January 31, 1970 in London, is a British-American actress, singer and songwriter. With her distinctive appearance and versatile talent, she has established herself as a defining performer in international cinema since the 1990s.

Minnie Driver achieved her breakthrough in 1995 alongside Pierce Brosnan in the James Bond film "GoldenEye". She received international attention and an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 1997 for her role as Skylar in "Good Will Hunting", in which she starred opposite Matt Damon and Robin Williams. That same year, Minnie Driver appeared in the romantic comedy "Grosse Pointe Blank". She took on further significant film roles in "Tarzan" (1999), where she voiced Jane Porter, as well as in "Return to Me" from 2000.

On television, Minnie Driver became known for her leading role in the NBC series "The Riches" (2007-2008) alongside Eddie Izzard. From 2010 to 2011, she starred with great success in the ABC sitcom "Speechless" as the mother of a teenager with cerebral palsy. Her work has been honored with multiple awards and nominations.
