American actor and screenwriter Owen Cunningham Wilson was born on November 18, 1968, in Dallas, Texas, USA. His career in Hollywood was significantly influenced by his role as Oscar Choi in Armageddon (1998), directed by Michael Bay.
Owen Wilson has also achieved considerable success as a screenwriter. His collaboration with Wes Anderson proved particularly fruitful. He co-wrote the scripts for Bottle Rocket (1996), Rushmore (1998), and The Royal Tenenbaums (2001).
