Stephen Collins

Stephen Collins is an American actor who gained international recognition primarily for his role as Reverend Eric Camden in the family series "7th Heaven." From 1996 to 2007, Stephen Collins portrayed the warmhearted family father and Protestant minister across eleven seasons, making him one of the faces of American family television.

Stephen Collins began his acting career in the 1970s with appearances in various television productions. He became known to a wider cinema audience through his role as Commander Willard Decker in "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" (1979), in which he starred alongside William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy. In the following decades, Stephen Collins appeared regularly in film and television, including in "Brewster's Millions" (1985) and "The First Wives Club" (1996).
