Christian Ehrich

Christian Ehrich studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and subsequently worked for 20 years at renowned theatres in Berlin, Weimar, Düsseldorf, Kassel and Vienna, ten of those years in permanent engagements. Alongside his stage work, he has also appeared in film and television productions, including numerous crime series. His passion for the spoken word was awakened early - even as a child, he was fascinated listening to records by great voice artists such as Rolf Ludwig, Eberhard Esche and Carmen-Maja Antoni, who were instrumental in inspiring his path to becoming an actor. As a voice artist, Christian Ehrich works on radio plays and features, including for Deutschlandfunk Kultur. His work encompasses literary productions as well as cultural journalism formats.
