David Nathan was born in 1971 in East Berlin as the son of voice actor Michael Pan and began voicing his first dubbing roles at the age of ten. He also appeared as a young actor in various films and theatre productions. Today he works as a successful dubbing writer, dialogue director and narrator. Above all, however, he is regularly booked as a German dubbing voice. Throughout his career, David Nathan has dubbed some very well-known Hollywood stars, including Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland), Christian Bale (Batman, American Hustle) and Paul Walker (The Fast and the Furious, Gangster Chronicles). His deep and distinctively memorable voice is also familiar from many thriller and horror audiobooks. As the German voice of Stephen King, David has narrated Pet Sematary, The Green Mile and It in unabridged versions.
