Originally, Dulcie Smart studied English Literature and Theatre Studies in New Zealand. However, having first stood before the microphone in a recording studio at the age of 16 for a radio drama role, it quickly became clear to Dulcie that she wanted to pursue this creative path professionally. She went on to take voice training courses at Trinity College in London and acting classes with Ivana Chubbuck (Los Angeles) and Krzysztof Kieślowski. In addition to her work as a news presenter and cultural correspondent for Deutsche Welle in Berlin, she continues to work as a voice artist in recording studios. Dulcie has a passion for emotive texts and storytelling. She loves bringing characters to life and narrating documentaries.
