Born in Austria, Johannes Schedl completed his acting training in Frankfurt am Main and Vienna. After his first engagements at Mainzer Unterhaus and Theater Willy Praml in Frankfurt, he initially returned to Austria, where he performed at the Neue Oper Wien and Landestheater Salzburg – a particular honour for him, as his father, Gerhard Schedl, had previously served as Composer-in-Residence there for several years. However, Johannes is not only active in theatre but also in various television roles, such as in "Ein Fall für Zwei" and "Kluftinger Krimi". Johannes also enjoys using his versatile, young voice as a voice-over artist in front of the microphone – he has already recorded commercials for Deutsche Bahn, Nescafé and Isover, corporate films for Ruhrverband, and roles in games such as Star Wars and Final Fantasy XV. He also works as a German dubbing voice and has lent his voice to Jordan Murphy in the BBC mini-series Village of the Damned, among others.
