Maria Vargas-Schlüter has been working as a Portuguese voice artist for over 15 years. She grew up in Lisbon, where she worked as a radio presenter for a local station until 1995. Alongside her broadcasting work, Maria completed various voice and vocal training courses, where her exceptional talent quickly became evident. Before long, her voice could be heard in numerous productions. Maria has recorded e-learning modules, corporate films and commercials for clients including Langenscheidt, McRent, Lufthansa, Ford and many more. She owes this success primarily to her adaptable and highly versatile voice. Casual and cool, narrative, cheeky or warm and gentle – Maria knows exactly how to use her voice to achieve the best possible results. She also speaks several Portuguese dialects fluently, including European Portuguese, Northern Portuguese and even Brazilian Portuguese. German with a Portuguese accent is no problem for her either.
