Stephan Baumecker is an actor and voice artist based in Berlin. Born in Brandenburg, he trained at the renowned Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. Following his studies, he spent over 25 years with permanent engagements at numerous German and Austrian theaters, performing at venues including the Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar, the Schiller Theater Berlin, the Salzburg Festival, and the Berliner Ensemble. Since 2006, Stephan has worked as a freelancer and has appeared in many films and TV series, including "Herr Lehmann," "Shark Alarm at Müggelsee," "You Are Wanted," and even spent a year as a lead in the telenovela "Rote Rosen." Alongside his acting work, he is highly active as a voice artist for documentaries, audio dramas, audiobooks, commercials, and as a dubbing actor. You can hear his warm, authoritative voice as the current German voice of Sparkasse and in all Arla organic spots.
