Expression has always been important to Tanja Fornaro—even though performing in front of a microphone wasn't where her career began. Tanja first trained at the Berlin Dance Academy under Tatjana Gsovsky. Immediately after, she completed her studies at the Charlottenburg Drama School. Tanja Fornaro landed her first major role as cello student Luca in the ARD family series "Aus heiterem Himmel". This was followed by a recurring role as Lissy in the ARD series "Plötzlich erwachsen". However, she became increasingly interested in voice work and performing in front of the microphone. Even here, Tanja always sought the challenge of live performance: she has been part of the permanent live audio drama ensemble at Oliver Rohrbeck's Lauscherlounge since its early days, and during the "Die drei ???" (The Three Investigators) live tour "Phonophobia", she could be heard and seen as the Amazon Chloe. It's no surprise, then, that audiobooks are a major focus of her work—where she frequently also works as a director. But you can also hear Tanja in many other productions: whether as a voice-over artist for TV features, as an off-screen narrator, in video games, in dubbing, or in commercials.
