During his acting studies at the Berlin University of the Arts, Thomas Hollaender gained insights not only into performance but also into microphone techniques. He enjoyed studio work so much that he subsequently focused on voice-over. Today, his main areas include audio guides, e-learning, corporate films, and audiobooks. His voice has been booked by clients such as BMW, BASF, and Kytta. For over 15 years, Thomas has also been recording audio descriptions for the German Hörfilm gGmbH, making him a regular voice on ZDF. One production that particularly stayed with him is a children's audio guide that led young visitors through the exhibition "The Most Beautiful French Come from New York" at the Neue Nationalgalerie Berlin – naturally with a French accent. The production was so popular that the Nationalgalerie decided to organize an event with "Henri," whom everyone had believed to be a real Frenchman until then. In addition to his work as a voice artist, Thomas also works as a theater and opera director.
