Yesim Meisheit's career behind the microphone began in her earliest childhood. Her favourite toy was her little cassette recorder, which she used to immortalise her voice on countless tapes. And even back then, her repertoire was impressive: stories, complete shows, film scenes she'd interpreted herself, and original songs - she did it all! Yesim consistently developed this early-discovered talent alongside her studies in Communication Science and Linguistics. During this time, she not only hosted radio shows and voiced television segments, but also proved her acting talent both in front of the camera and on theatre stages. After graduating, she initially worked in television at RTL before dedicating herself entirely to voice work. Today, this Berlin-based artist is among the most experienced voice actors in the industry. Commercials, voice-overs, dubbing, and games - her repertoire has remained just as diverse as it was back at the cassette recorder. And she masters all of this not only in German, but as the daughter of Turkish immigrants, also accent-free in standard Turkish.
