Hank Azaria

Hank Azaria, born April 25, 1964, in Queens, New York, is an American actor, voice actor, and producer. He is one of Hollywood's most versatile voice talents and became world-famous primarily through his work on the cult series "The Simpsons."

Azaria grew up in a Sephardic Jewish family and studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He achieved his breakthrough in 1989 when he joined the regular cast of the animated series "The Simpsons." There, Hank Azaria voices numerous characters, including Moe Szyslak, Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, Chief Wiggum, Comic Book Guy, and many others. He has won multiple Emmy Awards for his exceptional voice performances.

In addition to his voice work, Hank Azaria also made a name for himself as a film actor. He appeared in productions such as "The Birdcage" (1996), "Godzilla" (1998), "Mystery Men" (1999), and "Along Came Polly" (2004). He played a recurring role in the series "Mad About You" (1992-1999), as well as in "Huff" (2004-2006), for which he received an Emmy. Other important appearances include "The Smurfs" (2011) as Gargamel and the Showtime series "Ray Donovan" (2016-2020).
