Carsten Weidner from Berlin found his way into professional voice acting through music. After studying in Freiburg and years of experience teaching speech at a music academy, he made the career transition into the voice-over industry in 2024. Since then, he has continuously developed his skills through intensive training with renowned coaches including Irina von Bentheim, Sebastian Kluckert, and Engelbert von Nordhausen. His musical background shapes his work: rhythm, timing, and a refined sense for nuance define his delivery. Carsten feels particularly at home in dubbing, though he's also in demand as an audiobook narrator and for audio guides. For Hohenwerfen Castle in the Salzburg region, he lent his voice to both the comprehensive adult audio guide and a charming little mouse character in the children's version.
