Actor, dubbing artist, and voice-over talent Christian Holdt has contributed to countless audio productions. Before embarking on his career as a voice artist, however, he completed his training at the Arturo Drama School in Cologne. During this period, Christian got his first taste of studio work when he had to record his lines in a recording studio for a theatre performance. The response to his recordings was overwhelmingly positive, and both the studio and the drama school's principal, Gereon Nußbaum, were impressed by Christian's warm, versatile voice. They supported his development by arranging various voice-over jobs for him, including work for 1Live, WDR5, and Perry Rhodan. Since 2007, Christian has been working as a freelance actor and voice artist in Berlin, and can regularly be heard in commercials, documentaries, e-learning modules, radio plays, and corporate films—for clients such as LEGO, Arte, Weltsparen, and Sony Music, among others.
