David Hörning transitioned from theatre to professional voice acting: inspired by a fellow actor, he decided to try his hand at dubbing – and immediately fell in love with working behind the microphone. With his enthusiasm, creativity and exceptional vocal precision, he quickly made a name for himself across all genres, including dubbing, radio drama and audiobooks, as well as commercials and corporate films. In 2021, he finally left the theatre to focus entirely on voice work. Since then, David Hörning has been bringing a diverse range of projects to life as a full-time voice actor in his two native languages, German and Polish, and can now look back on numerous passion projects – including a dubbing role in a series featuring his childhood hero SpongeBob SquarePants.
