Heidi Schaffrath completed her acting training at the State Drama School in Hamburg under Urte Clasing. In her early years as a young actress, she worked in theatre, but after her daughter was born, she wanted more time for her family. This led Heidi Schaffrath to dubbing, and she had her first role as a voice actress under Werner Bruhns. Heidi Schaffrath has now been working as a German dubbing voice and voice-over artist for more than 40 years. Many will recognize her voice from the audio drama series "Die drei ???" and "Hanni und Nanni". Throughout her career, she has also been heard in countless commercials. Heidi Schaffrath also became well known as the voice of Karin Sommer. For more than 10 years, she was the German voice of the fictional advertising character for Jacobs Kaffee in their TV commercials.
