Marianne Graffam draws on years of experience in her work, as well as her studies at Royal Holloway, University of London and the renowned Central School of Speech and Drama, plus a Meisner course at the Actors' Centre London. Marianne started practicing at the age of five, recording her lines for a nativity play on a cassette recorder and hosting entire radio shows on loop for her parents. She landed her first voice-over job while still at drama school in London, lending her voice to animatronic figures at Legoland. Marianne has been working regularly as a voice artist since 2003. She has become indispensable on children's channel Nickelodeon, for example, where she has been active as a station voice since 2005. Thanks to her versatile voice, Marianne has been booked for many very different projects: museum guides for the Guggenheim Museum and Buckingham Palace, eLearning programmes for BMW, KPMG and Deutsche Post, financial podcasts for Allianz, corporate films, as well as children's audio dramas and audiobooks, computer games, dubbing and commercials. Incidentally, Marianne grew up bilingual and speaks both German and English without an accent, so you can book her young, fresh and dynamic voice for both languages.
