When recording studio staff came running after him screaming for his contact details following a session, Nick Karry knew for certain: voice work is his calling. He has been working as a US native speaker for over a decade, and more recently as a dubbing actor as well. Since then, he has voiced commercials for Miele USA and McDonald's, numerous corporate films for Deutsche Bank, Mercedes, JBL and Harman Kardon, and countless eLearnings for Fujitsu, Siemens and BMW. As a dubbing actor, he took on all the extra roles in the film "Mostly Martha" – even the Asian female voices. Nick draws on solid training as an actor in his work. In high school, he completed method acting training at the Center for the Performing Arts, a school for dance and theatre-oriented students. Prior to that, he had already performed in musical theatre for four years. He also studied theatre studies at Randolph-Macon College and participated in several stage productions – as an actor, writer or director. Nick's young, fresh voice sounds cheerful and carefree at times, serious and matter-of-fact at others.
