Ron Matz's talents are diverse, ranging from acting and music to bodybuilding. As a bodyguard and guitarist, he accompanied Robbie Williams through Berlin's nightlife and worked as a physical trainer with Jodie Foster on her Oscar-winning role in The Silence of the Lambs. In the late 1980s, he appeared on-screen in US series such as L.A. Law and Sledgehammer. His career as a voice actor and voice artist gained momentum when these series became popular in Germany and he became his own German dubbing voice during their translation. Language and tonality have been at the heart of his work ever since. In addition to dubbing and voice-overs, he also narrates audiobooks, radio plays, commercials and corporate films. He has now lent his voice to numerous prestigious brands (such as Mercedes-Benz) and companies (such as Toyota and Ricola), and provided the German voice for Hollywood actors including Michael Madsen and Billy Zane.
