Soraya Sala has covered a lot of ground – both linguistically and geographically. She grew up in Italian-speaking Switzerland, studied acting in Zurich, and now lives in Germany. Already during her studies, she received her first assignments as a voice artist for Italian and appeared in front of the camera for various film productions. Even after moving to Germany, she continued to perform regularly in German film and television. Occasionally, Italian-language films she had acted in were translated into German, and she found herself becoming her own German dubbing voice. In the process, she discovered that working at the microphone was even more enjoyable than acting in front of the camera. She stuck with voice work and now regularly voices commercials and corporate films, explainer videos, voice-overs, as well as audio dramas and radio features. She's mostly booked for Italian but also delivers convincing performances in French. Her German has a soft, Italian touch.
