Locutor Frank Röth

Film and TV fans will almost certainly recognize Frank Röth's voice: The actor and voice artist grew up in Weinheim on the Bergstraße and moved to Munich after completing his community service. Following his training as an editing assistant at Film- und Fernsehsynchron GmbH, he decided to try his hand at the microphone himself—with tremendous success! To date, Frank Röth has worked as a dubbing actor on more than 1,000 films and series. You'll know him, for example, as the German voice of Professor Remus Lupin (David Thewlis) in the Harry Potter films, Det. Stabler (Christopher Meloni) in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Philippe Pozzo di Borgo (François Cluzet) in The Intouchables. Beyond his countless dubbing roles, Frank's distinctive voice can also be heard in numerous advertising campaigns. He has voiced commercials for brands including Milka, Hyundai, DKV Versicherungen, IKK, and Welt am Sonntag.
