Martin Halland's journey to becoming an actor and voice artist began in 1980 with Shakespeare's Macbeth, a recording device, and himself in all the roles. What started as a one-person theatre project led to drama studies at Lund University, soon followed by voice acting coaching and sound engineering courses at Gravy for the Brain. Since 2012, Martin has been working professionally as a voice artist, lending his voice to a wide variety of productions, including voice-overs, audiobooks, and even the dubbing of a sloth. As a commercial voice, he has already convinced renowned clients such as Fairtrade Sweden, Tesla Motors, IKEA, McDonald's, Solaredge, and more. He primarily records in Swedish, though he occasionally voices projects in English with a Swedish accent.
