Ulrike trained at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rostock and Berlin, initially working exclusively on stage and in front of the camera. In 2006, she discovered her passion for microphone work. Since then, she has recorded over 80 audiobooks for numerous publishers and voiced at least as many audio guides for major museums and spectacular exhibitions (permanent exhibitions at venues such as the Städel Museum Frankfurt, Deutsches Historisches Museum, Schloss Charlottenhof Potsdam, palaces in Weimar, etc., as well as temporary exhibitions including documenta Kassel). Audio description is another specialty of hers. In 2016, the film 45 Years won the German Audio Film Award. Her distinctive voice is also highly sought after in advertising.
