Before Wicki Kalaitzi launched her career as a voice actress, she completed her acting training with Heidi Weiler and Maria Rengika in Berlin. This was followed by permanent engagements at Theater Kreatur in Berlin and at Staatsschauspiel Dresden. It was Thomas "Tom" Vogt who brought Wicki from the theatre stage into the recording studio, initially as a language consultant. The Leipzig-born actress was so captivated by the work of a voice actor that she decided to work behind the microphone herself – and has been doing so very successfully ever since! Her first role is also her most famous: as the fairy "Stella" in the series "Winx Club", she has been enchanting children for over 14 years with her young, fresh and likeable voice. But Wicki's talents extend beyond dubbing – she is also very active as a voice artist for audio dramas such as "Benjamin Blümchen" and "Sherlock Holmes", for commercials including Dr. Oetker, Air Wick and Deichmann, and as a narrator for corporate films.
