Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel, born on July 18, 1967 as Mark Sinclair in Alameda County, California, is an actor, producer, director, and screenwriter. With his distinctive voice and imposing presence, he became one of Hollywood's most recognized action stars.

Vin Diesel achieved his breakthrough in 2000 with "Pitch Black," in which he portrayed the anti-hero Riddick. One year later came the role of Dominic Toretto in "The Fast and the Furious," which made him world-famous and which he continues to play in numerous sequels to this day. "The Fast and the Furious" franchise developed into one of the most successful action franchises in film history. In 2002, Vin Diesel shone in "xXx" as extreme sports athlete and secret agent Xander Cage. He took on further significant roles in "The Chronicles of Riddick" (2004) and "Guardians of the Galaxy" (2014), in which he thrilled audiences as the talking character Groot with the iconic line "I am Groot."

As a producer, Vin Diesel significantly shaped many of his projects and founded his own production company One Race Films. Beyond his action career, he also lent his unmistakable voice to characters in animated productions.
